it all started when i met this girl with a miata. didnt even know what a differential was back then. next thing i know i have a miata, and soon after that she dumps me. all part of my sitcom lifestyle, but the problem now is im still obsessed with cars.
What do i like about them? mostly cars as an art form, and cars as companionship. A vehicle is a thing you can own without morality, customize without objection, maintain else your own detriment, and will come with you through phases of life, through places and people, and will one day die- sometimes even die with you. Theres so much culture, beauty, complex love, and justified hate in cars, that one can get lost in the sea of possibilities. I own a little two seater, and it has its "quirks" (no ac in the south. ect). but she's my baby through and through. it complains if i neglect and abuse it, but it carries on if I make it. theres just so much fascination I have for these beasts.
